For many years I worked as a Senior Counsellor within a staff support service. Addressing complex individual and organisational issues including: well-being, bullying, harassment, work life balance and trauma.
My practice and training and as a British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited counsellor, my work involves working with individuals across a wide age spectrum with diverse needs.
I Use age appropriate creative means of working. My style of work is an integration of the following schools of thought - I use Psychotherapeutic and Humanistic principals and value a relational model, incorporating the value of the therapeutic relationship, providing a means of working together in a non-judgemental way, to assist you in the exploration of problem areas, whilst identifying the impact of thoughts, feelings and behaviours that in is some way may have been hidden for years.
I also integrate the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Transactional Analysis Techniques, Hypnotherapy and NLP (Nuro Linguistic Programming.
Counselling offers a safe and confidential place to explore the difficulties that you may be experiencing. From this you will be enabled to feel less confused, and more able to make changes, choices or decisions that influence your life.
